Hey

Really nice vocal trance. Wish it had more studder effects but it's still really good

Kazmo responds:

I'll be adding more studders :] Thank man.

Big up for making ur own vocals

Respect for making your own vocals and lyrics

You should of made a pop screen for your mic though.

ShootingStar responds:

Haha I use probably one of the worst mics :P it's supposed to be for smartmusic.. Haha but thanks for the review!!

ShootingStar

nice but

this is ambient

jacob9 responds:

well thx for the review anyway. i was kinda bored/tired when i made this so...ill try to fix that next time i decide to make a song

Lots of room for improvement

It's not bad but it sounds really muddy. Reduce the volumes of everything on the mixer. Eq the muddiness out and boost the top ends of some of the synths.

Other then that it IS really repetitive. Changing the last note of a pattern every 4 times it repeats can do a LOT for this song just to keep it interesting.

Dreamcastle responds:

Thanks for the help. I'll see what it does for me.

NIce Melody

Nice melody however in the 2nd half their is a sour note.

The sound design needs a lot of work though. Your kick is lacking a punch or sometimes refered to a tok sound. I have a tutorial on how to make one on my site at www.ephixa.com

I would like to remix this song :) add me to msn if you have it james.leu@hotmail.com

VelociD responds:

Added you.

Some tips

Not bad man. I'm a seasoned hardstyle producer and my suggestions to you are.

Sample your kick drum and reverse it to make a nice fade in sound for the bass if it's going to be sudden. I would increase the volume on the main synth a really small amount or reduce the kick volume a little and boost the low low frequencies 65 hertz

Keep it up. One of the best I have heard on NG for hardstyle so far.

I would appreciate if you could take a listen to my music and drop some comments. added you to my favs

VelociD responds:

Thx for your review and especially the tips.
I'm going to write an review to one or more of your tracks asap =).

Good job on the atmosphere!!!

Great job with the atompshere and putting fx kicks in. Melody is also nice. However The kicks need work. They are pushed to far into the background I think you could fix that by turning the synths down some and boosting 65 hertz on the bass drum. Good call on the vocals his voice actually worked quite well.

P.S. I would appreciate if you could tell me what you think of my tunes, or even just take a listen. I need more friends XD so I don't get 0 bombed by kids who don't like hard basslines

SessileNomad responds:

lol i already like your stuff ephixa xD

ok ill check more of your tunes, sooner or later, im kind busy atm

i agre with these kicks, though, i made this track a while back and i had no clue what i was doing XD

Nice drums

The snares and drums are good. That seems to be the part that a lot of people dont pay attention to. You might want to change your snare loop to a 4 to the floor though.

BIggest suggestion I could make is beef up that bassline with some distortion and side chaining.

Keep it up!

P.S. I would appreciate if you could tell me what you tthink of my tunes, or even just take a listen.

ProjectStormForce responds:

Thanks a lot! I'll check your songs out too.

Hey man, not to bad, sound quality needs work.

Coming from a seasoned hardstyle producer, this is actually pretty good but I think the sounds are WAY to compressed. What effects did you use on the master channel? I also suggest turning up the decay on the reverb for the lead.

you're bass isn't to bad but it really needs more impact. Try taking the punch out of a sampled kick and layering it on your bass.

culmor30 responds:

I'm honored :D

This is really old, mastered it with a Soundgoodizer. I didn't even EQ some channels. Oh god I was awful. Don't worry, I'm trying to get better :]

Thanks much for the review.

Not bad not bad

I can't fuckin stand supa dupa (lead preset in the intro he used, for ppl who don't know what that is). Melody reminds me of another track Forgot the name.

this is pretty good though nice work. However the mixdown isn't to good. some vocals are to loud. I think ur overclipping and using a compressor / limiter to fix the issue because the bass is pushing the leads into the background.

Keep it up.

Z-Tone responds:

the intro is actually a modified version of smooth filter but yeah
check the extended mix too:P
think its much better:D
